Research methods

Statista analyzed more than 1,500 companies across nine different market segments and evaluated each company based on a set of key performance indicators, including revenue, number of users, and total funds raised.

To determine the top 200 global fintech companies, Statista conducted a quantitative analysis of the global market in nine categories: neobanks, digital payments, digital assets, digital financial planning, digital wealth management, alternative financing, alternative lending, and digital banking solutions and digital banking.
